In 2005, Hurricanes Rita and Katrina ravaged the Southern Coasts of theUnited States. As a leading utility pole repair and backfill supplierin the U.S., BMK Corporation donated both time and money to help thepeople and places that were affected by the devastation of thesestorms.

In October 2005, BMK Corporation donated $100,000 toThe American Red Cross Hurricane Relief Fund. BMK Corporation is andremains committed to Hurricane Relief Efforts from coast to coast.

In2005, David Keske, Owner and CEO of BMK stated "We hope thiscontribution helps provide emergency supplies and comfort to thoseaffected, including our friends and customers along the Gulf Coast whohave been impacted by Hurricanes Rita and Katrina." Meanwhile, back inSt. Louis, BMK remains actively involved in the physical recoveryefforts along the Gulf Coast, supplying two-part Polyurethane backfillproducts which are used to repair, straighten, and install utilitypoles. Day and night, BMK workers filled countless orders for customersinvolved in recovery efforts.
